This summer, I've been...
... working at Chef Ricks and attempting to save money for college.
... spending a lot of time with a wide variety of people.
... getting my share of Bruce Willis in.
... writing, rethinking, and star gazing.
... enjoying myself.

This section is becoming more and more obsolete since everyone who comes here knows me personally. So why is this still in existence? I guess for all the MOC freaks who happen upon me. Actually, I don't know. I really just like to toot my own horn. haha. Music!
Just a list of bands/artists I like to listen to... I like to think of myself as fairly eclectic. If you don't agree, well, I have nothing witty to say in response to that, but just be quiet, okay? [in alphabetical order because I'm that anal]

... that's my LITTLE sister and my quasi-gay dad. |
I am two fools, I know,
For loving, and for saying so
In whining poetry;
But where's that wise man, that would not be I,
If she would not deny?
Then as th' earth's inward narrow crooked lanes
Do purge sea-water's fretful salt away,
I thought, if I could draw my pains
Through rhyme's vexation, I should them allay.
Grief brought to numbers cannot be so fierce,
For he tames it, that fetters it in verse.
But when I have done so,
Some man, his art and voice to show,
Doth set and sing my pain,
And, by delighting many, frees again
Grief, which verse did restrain.
To Love and Grief tribute of Verse belongs,
But not of such as pleases when 'tis read;
Both are increased by such songs:
For both their triumphs so are published,
And I, which was two fools, do so grow three;
Who are a little wise, the best fools be.
-- John Donne, "The Triple Fool"

SOOO GREAT. |
To do just the opposite is also a form of imitation.
-- Georg Christoph Lichtenberg
I have too much respect for the idea of God to make it responsible for such an absurd world.
-- Georges Duhamel
Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night.
-- Edgar Allan Poe, "Eleonora"
When you think of the long and gloomy history of man, you will find more hideous crimes have been committed in the name of obedience than have ever been committed in the name of rebellion.
-- C. P. Snow
Look for the ridiculous in everything, and you will find it.
-- Jules Renard
From Mother Teresa (my hero)
"I know God will not give me anything I cannot handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much."
"Let us make one point, that we meet each other with a smile, when it is difficult to smile. Smile at each other, make time for each other in your family."
"Let no one come to you without leaving better and happier."
"We can do no great things, only small things with great love."
"The most terrible poverty is loneliness and the feeling of being unloved."
"If you cant feed a hundred people, then just feed one."
"What we do is less than a drop in the ocean. But if it were missing, the ocean would lack something."
"There is a net of love by which souls are caught."

You bet yer sweet ass... I'm a hot piece of ass!
Birthday: January 14, 1984 School: Cal State Long Beach... LBC, REPRESENT! (hell yeah! I can say that because I'm an under-represented minority!)
Habitat: Messy City of Residence: halving time between the armpit of California, Santa Maria (affectionately dubbed Santa for short) and Long Beach Height: 4 feet, 11 inches (5' ain't lookin too good)
Eyes: Dark chocolate
Hair: Usually black, has incorporated blondeness, has been raven maven matte black, tomato and cherry red at times, always clean! And now short!
Favorite Band: The Bouncing Souls
Favorite Song Ever (or this week): "Sell My Old Clothes, I'm Off to Heaven" Saves the Day
Some of my favorite things:
Soccer I've played since I was five, that would be a cumulative 12 years, thus far. I played traveling/club/all-star/tournament ball for 4 years. So far, our HS team sucks my balls and Milo's too.
Working out I like to work out as much as I can. At this point, I make it to the YMCA at an alarming rate of -6 times per week. That needs to remedied, so please, approach me at school and tell me my ass looks fat. I also go to partake in the man meat there... some artificially beef flavored, some 100% grade A. Eric Domingues. Brian Gingras. (hey, those almost rhyme!) Adam Cuccione. Sterling Bonquet. My friend, goodness, I forget his name. He's like 80 and I sat in the hot tub and talked to him and he almost dropped his pants and that's not a lie. It's some name with a Y, with no place that the Y could possibly fit. I'll think of it someday.
Dancing I like to get my freak on. I like to f-f-f-ffffreak dance? The Raybid ELK and I hook up on Friday nights and bust out my dad's folk CDs and bust some moves, bust some nuts. We often incorporate fallic props into our kinky footloose sessions. My favorite is a mushy, bruised banana (affectionately dubbed Krob's banana split) or a frozen sausage, which doesn't work so well because it habitually breaks in half and my mother isn't so happy with me afterwards - "We were going to eat that tomorrow night, Christina!" - Alice Tsuyuki. Erica opts for the huevos in my fridge, oven mitts (which she uses to ahem draw attention to/emphasize/feel herself up/demonstrate her mammory glands) and an apron, with which she swings the damn ties around and hits me in the eye with the metal buckle. I also like to get my swerve on at dances. Or even busting loose at random places, near any pole or pole shaped object, or upon unsuspecting, attractive individuals.
Skating Yay! I love skating! I picked this up about a year ago at a retreat. During breaks, when Erica was relationing with the farmer and I was too tired to give him some, I would skate up and down the concrete hallways of San Lorenzo seminary. I love the X-games. You can find me a few times a month on my skateboard, skating up and down, haphazardly, on my driveway. If you're lucky, Cammie will join me and attempt to relive the his glory days of skating through ollie-ing, I mean, eating it on my lawn while my dad claps and asks for lessons. If you're lucky, although this is not rare, you can watch me skate over the same freakin uneven crack on my driveway and eat shit while going over it. This happens at least 10 times a skating session. My sessions are approximately 30 minutes. I'm that good.
I aspire to learn how to surf. How would you like to teach me? I'll allow you to for free! C'MON!!
I have conquered motorcycle riding (thanks Llamlette)... at 12:00 at night, in a dark, hole-ridden field, with Josh Hurst wearing the giant helmut and chasing me through the weedy field as I scream at the top of my lungs. It was great! Oh yeah, and I almost hit the fence that Lizzie, Drew, and Erica were sitting and they thought the cops were coming to arrest them, so they dove into the bushes. I have conquered snowboarding (thanks Chickenbutt)... meaning, I strapped myself into a snowboard and went out onto the snow. It doesn't have anything to do with actually standing up. I was extremely determined to make it down the slope, so I spent about 5 hours attempting and failing miserably. I fell every 5 feet and laid there panting. On the BUNNY slope. I think I went down a total of 8 times that day. I was aching, had giant bruises, and cuts all over my body. My bra also broke, which was beyond wonderful, in my state. Especially since this was near LA, in the mountains, on a sunny day and all I had on was a giant, heavy, down ski jacket and a wifebeater. Needless to say, I stuffed the bra in my coat pocket and sweated out the remainder of the day.
Writing I love writing and poetry, especially. One of the highlights of my day: English! I'm such a nerd, but that's a well known fact. I love the discussions because I can actually partake and I actually comprehend what's going on now. I am most proud of my vocabulary arsenal. It's so great, even if I can't pronounce half the words, I know how to use them. I spend a lot of time writing in my journal, I've got about 4 full ones and one half full one right now. I also emotionally release through poetry. It isn't poetry, per say, it's more just beautiful words and emotions on paper. Half of them don't make sense, rhyme or have any sort of flow. But, hey, they do what they need to for me.

*** Wow, this makes no sense. It's cleverly written, so I'll leave it in here. Was I ever that crazy? I mean, to have sex with Roger? ***
Baby Count!
We're up to TWENTY.
Our first child was born at St. Joseph's first football game, in which we got our ass handed to us by Westlake High. I lost the second child when (s)he (it was so fast, I couldn't identify the child) dropped beneath the bleachers! Many more followed in the following 2 weeks or so.
Twenty was born today in Physics class... today being also known as September 19. He was quite a large love child and was born before his proud father's eyes, along with 29 other circus performers. The mid-wife and my little wheezy sidekick aided in delivery of Roger-The Twentieth Edition and in an emergency procedure, Erica was forced to hone her acquired years of medical training to perform a necessary Cesarian to release Roger-20 ed. from my womb! I was in pain. A lung was accidently removed at the same time, which I sorely miss. My throat is in a lot of pain, but Roger-20 ed. is doing just fine! He seems to have scurried off to play with his 19 brothers and sisters, none of which I know the whereabouts of. Roger, honey, have you seen our 20 bundles of joy? |
